After Care

We will use one of two methods for aftercare in the studio, Saniderm or the old school way.

1. Saniderm – this is clear wrap that clings to the skin for a few days. Not recommended if you have highly sensitive skin, or allergic reactions to band aid adhesive or latex. Read about the Saniderm science by Clicking Here.

2. Old school – We bandage you up by first using A&D, then covering your exposed area with plastic wrap. You wear the plastic wrap until you get home for a few hours. After a few hours, when the tattoo has had a chance to weep some blood and plasma, you’ll give it a light wash and then re-apply a thin (lotion consistency kinda thin) layer of aquaphore. This is repeated 3 to 4 times per day until the tattoo is fully healed (up to 2-4 weeks)
